The tachograph records everything and explains nothing. You find out about the overrun at a roadside check, the pay deduction on the payslip, and the misplaced rest period when it is too late to fix it.

Four and a half hours of continuous driving, a forty-minute break instead of forty-five: the rule is simple, the count is not.
Expenses get lost in the cab
A toll ticket, a truck wash, a part bought in a hurry: the receipt goes missing between the cab and the office, and the line drops off the payslip.
The GPS ignores your size
A 3.80 m bridge, a tunnel closed to ADR loads, a yard the semi cannot enter: consumer navigation does not know about them.

Switch on only what you use.
Each module can be turned on and off from Preferences. A driver who only works in France can turn navigation off; one without a reader can hide the card tab.

Every infringement, explained.
Continuous driving exceeded, shortened break, daily service time: each infringement is dated, ranked by severity, tied to the article behind it, and points to the day that caused it.
- The overrun, measured: 6 h 24 against a 6 h 00 limit, i.e. +0 h 24.
- Outside the checking window: what can still be checked at the roadside, and what can not.
- The rule of the day: last year's trip is still judged under last year's text.
It stays on your phone.
TachoPro works for the driver, with the data from the driver's own card. It is neither a telematics service nor a surveillance tool.
Local storage
Activity, card files and payroll calculations are stored, encrypted, on your device. The publisher has no access.
Nothing is resold
Your activity, card files and position are never passed to third parties for advertising.

What is TachoPro?
TachoPro is an Android app for professional truck drivers. It reads your driver card (or connects to a smart tachograph over Bluetooth), tracks your driving and rest times under Regulation (EC) 561/2006, spots infringements, estimates your allowances and offers navigation suited to heavy vehicles.
Is TachoPro free?
Yes. The app is distributed free of charge on Google Play, with no in-app purchases and no subscription. It may display advertising provided by Google AdMob; in the European Union you are asked for your choice at first launch and can change it at any time in Profile → Privacy and data.
Does TachoPro replace my tachograph or my driver card?
No. TachoPro is a decision aid. The tachograph, the driver card and the documents required at a check remain the only enforceable records. The times, thresholds and amounts displayed are estimates calculated from the data read.
Is there an iPhone version?
TachoPro is available for Android (8.0 or newer). No iPhone version has been announced so far.
