What TachoPro does, screen by screen.
TachoPro is built for professional truck drivers: read your card, know where your driving times stand, find your allowances without recalculating them by hand, and drive with navigation that knows your truck's dimensions.
Three things TachoPro does for you.
It reads
Your driver card, through a USB or Bluetooth reader, and the smart tachograph over Bluetooth. The .ddd file is decoded on the phone.
It calculates
Your driving, work and rest times under Regulation (EC) 561/2006, your infringements, your allowances and your overtime.
It guides
A route calculated for your dimensions and weight, with your remaining times shown on the map.
No computer needed, right at the rest area.
Plug in a USB card reader, or connect over Bluetooth: the app fetches the .ddd file and reads it on the spot. It shows the card contents, the vehicles used, the last insertion, events and faults, and keeps the history of your downloads.
- USB or Bluetooth reader, paired once.
- Smart Tachograph V2 through the Bluetooth ITS interface of Annex I C: download without a cable or docking station.
- The download trace that the regulation expects is written for you.
- The link holds with the screen off, while you do something else.

The legal format, decoded and archived.
The card file is fully decoded (Annex I C and Appendix 7 of Regulation (EU) 2016/799): activities, vehicles driven, countries entered and left, events and faults. Files are archived on the phone and exported on request to your manager.
- The mandatory 28 days: the window is anchored on the last day actually read, and you see what is missing before the check.
- Country changes counted over the window.
- Send a file to your manager in one tap.

Know where you stand across the whole month.
The dashboard shows the month day by day: driving, work, availability, rest. Incomplete days stand out, so do country changes, and kilometres sit next to service time.
- Monthly totals: driving, work, availability, total, distance.
- Night work (9 pm – 6 am) shown separately.
- Recoverable time and infringements up front.
- France and EU allowances: breakfast, meals, nights away, leave, other.

Your infringements, explained.
Continuous driving exceeded, shortened breaks, daily service time, daily rest too short, spread-over: each infringement is dated, ranked by severity, tied to the article behind it, and points to the day that caused it.
- The overrun, in numbers: recorded time, limit, difference.
- The diagram: a rest taken too late shows the twenty-four-hour window and what should have been placed in it.
- Roadside check: infringements still checkable at the roadside (last 56 days) are counted separately.
- The right text: the engine follows successive versions of the rule.

Before the infringement, not after.
Connected to the tachograph, the app keeps your counters up to date: time before break, continuous driving, daily driving, work before break, spread-over, work of the day. They appear right on the map while you drive.
- Progress bars towards each regulatory limit.
- Break countdown and remaining driving time.
- Alerts before the limit is crossed.

The expense sheet, without recalculating by hand.
Breakfasts, meals, nights away, public holidays and Sundays worked are counted from your actual activity. The month's overtime follows the French national road transport collective agreement (CCNTR). Scales update without reinstalling the app.
- Photograph the receipt the moment you have it in hand: the photo travels with the expense sheet, in the same PDF, captioned with day, amount and purpose.
- Inside the app, not your camera roll: photos are shrunk before being kept.
- One send, one attachment: the sheet and its receipts reach your manager in one piece.
An estimate to check with the employer: this is not payroll software.

Every module switches on and off.
Nothing is imposed except decoding of card files, which everything else relies on. You choose at first launch, and can change your mind any time in Preferences. A refused permission only disables the feature concerned: refusing location does not stop you reading a card.
Tachograph
Bluetooth ITS link: live activity, counters kept up to date, cable-free card download.
Card reader
A USB reader plugged into the phone, or a Bluetooth reader paired once.
.ddd files
The legal format decoded, archived on the phone and exportable. Always on: everything else relies on it.
EU rules engine
Continuous and daily driving, rest, spread-over, working time, with versioned rules.
France module
Meal and night-away allowances, CCNTR overtime, public holidays, PDF expense sheet.
Truck navigation
Dimensions, weight, ADR, offline maps, voice guidance, stations from your network.
What TachoPro is not.
Not an enforcement device
The tachograph, the driver card and the documents required at a check remain the only enforceable records.
Not payroll software
Amounts are estimates calculated from the data read, to be checked with the employer.
Not a surveillance tool
Nothing is sent unless you ask. The app works for the driver, with the data from the driver's own card.
